Vacancy in brief
Purchaser/Planner, you play a crucial role in the timely procurement of materials and services, also effectively and efficiently planning various projects and associated staffing. You are the first point of contact for suppliers, customers and employees and ensure that projects run smoothly.
We are looking for a smart, forward-thinking professional who solves problems before they arise. You are flexible, accurate and able to work under time pressure. You can switch well between different tasks and always maintain an overview.

As a Project Buyer/Scheduler, we expect the following:
- The Prepare project schedules, staffing plans and procurement plans for ongoing projects.
- Maintain and manage supplier relationships, including negotiating prices and terms.
- The timely ordering of products and services at the desired price and quality.
- Processing administrative data in the computerized system.
- Providing employees with information on project implementation.
- Handling complaints and finding solutions to unexpected situations.
You are responsible for:
- Procurement of materials
- Actively participating within the project team
- Performing your work within the budget and schedule set for it
- Actively seek improvements in own work, including based on feedback from production departments and onboarding.
- To continuously improve one's own work, work processes and product quality.
We ask:
You are professionally strong, preferably in the field of furniture, yacht and/or interior construction. You work independently and identify potential bottlenecks within the (project) team. Command of the Dutch language a requirement. In terms of personality, you always strive for high quality and have "always improving" as a high priority.
Summary
- You have MBO+/HBO working and thinking level
- You preferably have knowledge of the luxury yacht interior design and/or furniture industry;
- Skilled understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of-and experience with-MS Project or other plan software packages.
- You have a good command of the Dutch language and can make yourself understood in English.
- You have 3-5 years of relevant work experience in an industrial work environment;
- You know what is going on in the market and can respond accordingly;
- The competencies that characterize you are: positive attitude, communicatively strong, result-oriented, team player, persuasive and stress-resistant.
